Lenny Finds His Line Giveaway!
You may have read the review I posted earlier this month of Patricia Kieta’s book “Lenny Finds His Line.” I am excited to offer the chance for one lucky person to win a signed copy of the book!
Lenny learns to focus on one thing at a time, by searching for the wisdom in a comment his mom makes to him about finding his line throughout a busy school day.
Look forward to two new books in the series to be coming soon – The new book is “Lenny Loses His Z” where we will meet Lenny’s best friend, Grace. Then, later, Grace will be a recurring character in the third book. I’m looking forward to following this series with my son. I know you are too!

Mariah, I have been reading exclusively to elementary classes, K through 4th. The children have such fun experiencing Lenny as he twirls from item to item. They understand how much fun it is to explore, yet, they really see how beneficial the process of focusing can be. Staying on task allows them that extra time to do all the things they love. I love that my writing has taken me to “focusing” on positive character traits in way that the children don’t have to be told all the time what they need to be doing. The phrase “Find your line” is a fun way to remind them to stay focused. This is truly a labor of love. The character Lenny was chosen from my observations of my grandson. Raising two daughters and now the wonder and amazement of six grandchildren have blessed me and inspired me to give parents, care givers and teachers, other ways to help children develop into the best that they can be. I have a former teacher and a current teacher in my family so I see the dedication that they and all of our wonderful teachers provide on a daily basis. Thank you for being a teacher!

My daughter loves this book. She actually was at a local author event and had her own private reading by the author. It is a special memory for her.
That was a very tender moment for me as she just snuggled up to me. My second book is being edited and I hope to have it out soon. Most of my time has been spent reading to grades K through 3rd in all the schools in my area.
