My daughter has an unbreakable habit of laying down or leaving behind small but valuable items wherever we visit family and friends. As a family we seem to think and indulge our children alike. Even in my own house, I often buy my kids toys, supplies and even water bottles in different colors, so I know what belongs to whom! Now we have a new policy in our home. If you Love it, Label it.
Lovable Labels gave us a great solution to this bothersome issue and took another one of those nagging worries that Mom’s have away for me. With the Friendship Sampler pack, we got 30 Sticker Labels, 80 Slimline Labels and 10 Fun Stickies. As a great bonus, my daughter received a free Friendship Sampler with 40 Slimline Labels for a friend; and I got a splash of stickers that said “I love Blogging”.

We got started labeling stuff right away. These stickers are dishwasher and microwave safe, Waterproof, UV Resistant, and Peel & Stick!
My daughter picked her cousin for the free bonus labels, and they labeled notebooks, erasers, pencils, and locker ware. My daughter even labeled here television! She also labeled the inside of her sneakers – which is just fine because the labels stay on in the washer!
I labeled my camera with a purple and white “I love blogging” label. I love it to pieces and am definitely going to order more of those. I did order pencil labels for my son because he can never find a pencil, even though I donate for the class and buy him pencils for his desk. Now we have slimline labels that have his name “Elijah Towns” printed on them with a neat little robot at the end.
Lovable Labels has a bevvy of great products, not just limited to the Friendship pack that we’ve been using in our home. Visit the Lovable Labels site and look around at all the great products available.

Love the idea of labeling pencils. We have a ton of pencils that the kids either get from school as a prize or extras from when I bought at the beginning of the school year and it never fails that they fuss over one pencil. Ha! The labels are really cute too.

I want to try this! It’d be nice to know that my kids are using their own stuff instead of other people’s, and vise versa! AND how cute are those labels? Sign me up!

I think my school needs to invest in these. Our Lost and Found cupboard is always filled to capacity. It drives the principal insane because very rarely do the kids claim their belongings.

That’s a great idea! I am always in the lost and found at our school because although my child’s belongings are labeled – he loses his school sweater with regularity! I’m going to share your idea with our principal this week.

This is such a great idea! I don’t think I have ever seen any that are dishwasher and microwave safe. I really need to order some for my sons sippys for church.
I love that about these labels. My son’s water bottle has labels on it, and I wash it all the time – the label is still fine! I hope you enter to win!

I need to get better at labeling my daughter’s clothes. Her last school was adamant about it but this one, not so much. She’s already lost a few clothing items!

I’ve used some of their labels and they never come off! They are awesome! I’ve put cups through the dishwasher, scissors have been washed off multiple times – love them!

I just found this page on your blog. I am past raising my children and am onto to grandchild stage. I found that my children were always leaving things and I was always going back and collecting them for them or reminding them they had left things around the house.
To teach them the habit of being aware of their possessions I would pick up the strays and they went in a box in my room. At times I had to stop by somewhere they had left something to pick it up for them. They had to either do an extra big chore or wait for the release of their item from the mom box. (a week if it was something they left out in the house or yard, 10 days if I had to go pick something up for them) They really started being aware of where their things were.
That sounds like a good plan, too. My Mom does something similar at her home, whenever my kids leave something sitting around, or if they are abusing a toy or electronic that was expensive to provide for them. She takes it away or puts it up until they can prove they will take care of their belongings. It could be a long time before they see it again.
